The Board
|
Margaux (COL ’12) hails from a northern suburb of sweet home Chicago and is an English major and Spanish minor at Georgetown. She can be found giving tours to prospective Hoyas, working in the GAAP office in Admissions, or doing an impromptu “show me how you NSO” dance with her fellow captains on the lawn. The quickest way to her heart? Buy her a Don Quixote from Midnight MUG, and she’s forever yours. Margaux loves Disney World but knows that Georgetown is really the happiest place on Earth. Having served as Corp Service and Outreach Chair last year, she is thrilled to return as Chairman. Margaux loves the entire Georgetown community and feels privileged to serve them through The Corp. |
|
Alex (COL ’12) is a Computer Science major and Psychology minor who pretends that he’s from that obscure state up north (New York) even though his real home is Leavey Center. He was hired to IT+Marketing in the Fall of 2009 but wishes someone had convinced him to join The Corp sooner. In his spare time, Alex enjoys working at Uncommon Grounds, watching ridiculous television shows, and buying the weirdest food products he can find at Vittles. He would like you to use your imagination and insert a few witty comments here, or judge his go-to interesting fact: he is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. |

Brooke Heinichen |
Brooke (SFS ’12) is a Science, Technology and International Affairs major, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, the state deemed by The Onion as “The Most American State.”’ Though it was hard for her to leave her homey Midwestern roots, her six siblings, and her job in a small ceramics studio, Brooke found a home in The Midnight MUG as a barista shortly into her freshman year. Following a two-year reign as Midnight’s Director of Purchasing and a 9 month Corp hiatus in Cambodia and France, Brooke is excited to tackle The Corp’s broken machines, health codes, business licenses and keys as COO. When not sticking up for Cincinnati’s terrible sports teams, pumping up new students as an NSO Captain, or making to-do lists, Brooke enjoys scampering around Leavey Center, triaging broken equipment, and making Pygmalions. A big proponent of Corp-wide love and student service, Brooke tries to be “alive, awake, alert, enthusiastic” in everything that she does. |

R. Scott Munro |
R. Scott Munro (COL ’12) is a Classical Languages (Latin & Greek) and Government Major from the beautiful city of Carmel, California. Scott spends most of his time trying to prove that Classics Majors have a firm grasp on financial analysis and know more about the world than the Latin word for a horse’s tail. When not in the sauna (some of his closest friends and relatives recently tried to stage an intervention for this activity) or playing Office Basketball in the accounting office, Scott splits his time between re-runs of Scrubs, Rob and Big, and YouTube videos of kittens. He has been described by many as a dreamer, a lover, but never a fighter. Perhaps his most identifying characteristic is his ability to sweat more than anyone, anywhere, anytime. Some argue that this is Scott’s biggest flaw. However, he contends that it is a sign of his good health, high metabolism, and youthful exuberance. As CFO, Scott is excited to try to do his part in increasing The Corp’s profitability to ensure that the student run corporation can give back to the Georgetown and greater DC communities as much as possible. |

Carolina Delgado |
Carolina (SFS ’12) is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, currently the most dangerous city in the Americas (serious street cred). Aside from being an International Political Economy major in the SFS, Carolina is pursuing a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies with a concentration in Political Economy. She hopes to eventually solve the resource curse but until then wants to work with The Corp Advancement Team to solve the challenging obstacles that face The Corp. Aside from The Corp, Carolina is a founding member of the Roosevelt Institute at Georgetown and the Business and Economics Section Editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs. |

Margaret Delaney |
Margaret (COL ’12) is an English major from Chicago and so is a true city kid at heart - despite living all of two blocks from the suburbs. Margaret is incredibly excited to serve as The Corp’s Philanthropy Chair. She is looking forward to working with the members of the CPC to support the Georgetown community in cultivating a philanthropic spirit across campus. When not consuming excessive amounts of chai tea lattes, Margaret also serves as the Community Member on the Board of Directors for The Hoya, a member of the GAAP Board, and writes a column for The Hoya entitled “I Know this Much is True.” And she knows this much is true: she feels honored to be able to serve the Georgetown community through The Corp. |

William Cousino |
William (SFS ’12) is an International Politics major, which for him means taking really cool social science courses while being forced to take some economics and statistic courses. He would call that a fair trade-off. He was born and raised in Sylvania, Ohio (pronounced like Transylvania minus the tran) and misses the clean and green metro parks of his stomping grounds. That said, joining the Georgetown community as a freshman in 2008 was probably the best thing to happen to him right after being born and learning to ride a bike. Through his experiences in student advocacy with InterHall, integrity in the Honor Council, politics as a member of the International Relations Club and culture while studying abroad in Buenos Aires, he has acquired a diverse view of Georgetown and the world. Both his newest and oldest friends made here on the Hilltop continue to motivate him to push Hoya service and outreach to new horizons in 2011-2012. |
