The Upper Management

Kaitlyn Fredrick
Director
Vital Vittles
Kaitlyn (NHS ’11) is a Healthcare Management and Policy major who hails from the same lovely city as Elvis, Justin Timberlake, and Three 6 Mafia - Memphis, Tennessee. After being hired to Vittles in the spring of her freshman year, Kaitlyn has spent many hours lurking in Vittles, eating bulk candy, and drinking Cherry Coke Zero. When she’s not at Vittles (which is rare), you can find Kaitlyn running down M Street, chilling in her hammock, throwing elaborate theme parties, or procrastinating in Lau. She’s rather tall and uses exaggerated hand motions when she talks - especially when she talks about her love for Vital Vittles.
Mary Kate Supplitt
Director
Hoya Snaxa
Mary Kate (SFS ’12) was raised for the past 17 years in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights in several houses all within a three-block radius of each other. Although she hails from the North Side, Mary Kate stays to her true South Side Irish roots as a die-hard White Sox baseball fan. She is Culture and Politics major in the School of Foreign Service and is working towards a certificate in International Development. On almost any given day you can find her at Hoya Snaxa aggressively stocking the shelves to perfection and munching on any and all Reese products. Some of her favorite pastimes include over-enunciating vowel sounds when speaking, the color red, European “football”, and picking flowers.
Heather Gartin
Director
Uncommon Grounds
Heather (MSB ’11) is double majoring in Finance and Accounting. While she lives in Connecticut, the corner table at Uncommon Grounds is her second home. After being hired two weeks into her freshman year it was not long before making cappuccinos was second nature. You can often find Heather working the register or nursing her Corp induced caffeine addiction with an iced coffee. When she is not roaming around the Leavey Center, she enjoys cartwheels, bungee jumping, eating French fries and taking trips to Disney World. She hopes one day to retire in New Zealand and speak with an authentic English accent.
Michael Lonie
Director
More Uncommon Grounds
Michael (COL ’11) is a History major and Arabic minor from the hardened streets of suburban Central Jersey. He grew up spending his days on the beautiful Jersey Shore (stop laughing), where he developed a deep passion for hair gel and fist pumping. Mike was hired to More Uncommon Grounds during his sophomore year and quickly developed a love for The Corp and a crippling addiction to iced mochas. He enjoys listening to The Boss and watching the History Channel. When not working at MUG, Mike can be found getting lost running around DC or watching the Mets collapse on his computer. After he graduates, Mike plans to remain on campus to encourage freshmen to join The Corp so he can live vicariously through them.
Jon-Michael LaGray
Director
The Midnight Mug
Jon-Michael (COL ’11) or “JM” is a Government major with an Arab Studies certificate from Southern Quebec, NY. JM was hired fall of his freshman year to The Midnight MUG and, despite spending all of his time in Lauinger, has yet to actually find a way to study on the second floor. When on shift, he enjoys singing loudly to 90’s pop songs, talking about his “time” at McDonalds or discussing his deep love for bagels. In the next year, JM hopes to add poutine to the menu at Midnight.
Alex Klein
Director
Corp Catering
Alex (MSB ’11) is majoring in management and marketing and minoring in Spanish. Alex is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin - home of the cheese curd. As a Corp caterer, Alex gets to lead the newest Corp Service with a team of 12 all-stars. Alex is beginning his second term as the Director which means two times the amount of Catering love. Alex’s favorite item on the menu is our blueberry muffin loaf because it reminds him of all things good in the world. Team “Flying Muffin” enjoys being treated to nice meals and getting trapped in the rain. We encourage you to try out the quality and convenience of Corp Catering!
Jamie O’Neill
Director
Seasonal Services
Jamie (NHS ’11) is majoring in Healthcare Management and Policy. Jamie’s Corp career began her freshman year as a Vittles’ cashier. She then became the final director of the Book Co-op (RIP) and is now excited to take on boxes, bunnies, and turkeys with Seasonal Services. Besides walking to St. Mary’s and eating bulk candy in Vittles, Jamie enjoys running along the Potomac and supporting anything that has to do with her home state of Wisconsin. As the current Director of Seasonal Services, Jamie pledges not to kill anymore Corp services and looks forward to the busy year ahead.

Savannah English
Controller
 Accounting

Savannah (SFS ’12) was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She hopes that her major in International Political Economy and certificate in International Business Diplomacy will someday qualify her to own and operate a vineyard like the one in The Parent Trap. She loves to do the New York Times crossword, but only Monday through Wednesday, and throughout the rest of the week finds equivalent satisfaction in Corp granola bagels. Despite having no prior academic or life experience with the subject, she was hired to Corp Accounting in the fall of her sophomore year. This often surprises people, since on most days she is more likely to be found working at Snaxa.
Alexander Pon
Director
Information Technology
Alex (COL ’12) is a Computer Science major and Psychology and Theatre and Performance Studies minor who pretends that he’s from that obscure state up north (New York) even though his real home is 1503 Leavey Center. He was hired to IT+Marketing in the fall of 2009 but wishes someone had convinced him to apply to The Corp sooner. Alex is also involved in campus media and Mask & Bauble Dramatic Society. Despite a seemingly diverse group of interests, he inevitably designs websites for all of them. In the spare time that The Corp allows, Alex enjoys thinking about his dream job (layout designer at Wired magazine), watching ridiculous television shows, and buying the weirdest food products Vittles provides. He would like you to use your imagination and insert a few witty comments here, or judge his go-to fun fact: he is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Patrick Go
Director
Marketing
Patrick (MSB ’11) is a Marketing and Operations & Information Management double major. He hails from a suburb just outside of San Francisco and is proud to be the sole representative of the Best Coast on The Corp’s Upper Management. When Patrick can’t be found in Leavey Center, he’s probably in Leavey Center. Seriously, you’re just not looking hard enough. Aside from using his knowledge of marketing to create artificial needs, Patrick enjoys exploring the metaphysical implications of the television show “Lost”, creating the perfect mix tape, making esoteric pop culture references, using the word “esoteric” in sentences, and resolving disputes through IMDB. Finally, Patrick realizes that this is the page that will appear when his secret admirers Google him.
Kristen Janiszewski
Director
Human Resources
Kristen (NHS ’11) is known to most Corpies as KJ, and some don’t know her at all except by these initials. KJ was born in Montreal but more closely identifies with her current home of Johns Creek, Georgia, and maintains a love for sweet tea as well as a strong dislike for cold weather/snow. She does, however, reclaim her Canadian birthright during the Winter Olympics. In addition to being a Nursing major, an NSO captain, walking Jack the Bulldog, and working at the Whitman-Walker Clinic, KJ is more-than-words excited for the opportunity to serve and develop The Corp’s most important resource, its employees! She was hired to MUG her freshman spring and hasn’t stopped working or drinking iced coffee since. Kristen would like to take this opportunity to say “Hi, Mom and Dad! I promise I’ll call soon!”
