The Upper Management
Michael CraftsDirector Vital Vittles |
Michael (COL ’13) is a Math major, who spent his first 18 years of existence in Chelmsford (pronounced Chums-ferd), Massachusetts and his last two in Vittles. A mix between George Clooney and a pubescent seventh grade boy, you can pick Mike out a crowd because of his salt and pepper hair and patchy “beard.” Other than his good looks, Mike is defined by his love for juggling, G-rated “Never Have I Evers,” and all things numerical. If you’re interested in finding more about Mike, he is happy to treat you to a dinner specially prepared by Mike himself, which will most likely be some combination of chocolate chip pancakes and Suddenly Salads. Just don’t let him catch you playing “Words With Friends” on your iPhone at the dinner table. |
Mary Kate SupplittDirector Hoya Snaxa |
Mary Kate (SFS ’12) was raised for the past 17 years in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights in several houses all within a three-block radius of each other. Although she hails from the North Side, Mary Kate stays to her true South Side Irish roots as a die-hard White Sox baseball fan. She is Culture and Politics major in the School of Foreign Service and is working towards a certificate in International Development. On almost any given day you can find her at Hoya Snaxa aggressively stocking the shelves to perfection and munching on any and all Reese products. Some of her favorite pastimes include over-enunciating vowel sounds when speaking, the color red, European “football”, and picking flowers. |
Lauren SheidlerDirector Uncommon Grounds |
Lauren (NHS ’12) hails from Pennington, NJ and is majoring in Human Science with a minor in Theology. She was hired to UG in the fall of her sophomore year and quickly fell in UG Luv with her fellow Corpies and perpetually smelling like espresso grinds. If you don’t catch her slyly putting on country music behind the counter, she’s probably on Lau 5 organizing her organizer or running to the National Mall. Some of her interests include beating people in card games, relishing in the inspirational music of the Mighty Ducks (D2 especially), and serving on the NHS Academic Council. After Georgetown, Lauren hopes to become a pediatrician or have a self-titled CNN show. |
Lili DodderidgeDirector More Uncommon Grounds |
Lili (COL ’13) is an English major with a very real fear of birds and sleeping bags. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Lili has been bringing her homegrown brotherly love to More Uncommon Grounds since the spring of 2010. At MUG, she has found the perfect outlet to fuel her coffee addiction and to disarm awkward silences with more awkward witticisms. When she is not behind the counter, making Life of Bryans and causing floods, Lili is probably exercising (ha. That’s a joke.) But really, she’s more than likely at MUG. With an amazing group of Muggers beside her, Lili is indescribably thrilled to be director of the world’s greatest coffee shop. |
Alex MarkDirector The Midnight MUG |
Alex (MSB ’12) is a double major in Finance and Operations & Information Management and hails from sunny San Diego, California. While originally from New York, which explains his undying love for the Yankees, Alex has come to call The Midnight MUG his home since being hired as a barista in the fall of his freshman year. Some of his favorite hobbies include proving he is from New York in his pronunciation of “coffee,” singing along to every Dave Matthews Band song that comes over the Midnight speakers, and toasting bagels. Alex looks forward to continuing to ensure that ideas aren’t the only thing brewing in the “beacon of learning.” |
Alyxie HarrickDirector Corp Catering |
Alyxie is a junior in the SFS majoring in Culture and Politics, pursuing a Certificate in Asian Studies. Born and raised on the Connecticut coast, she now considers the Catering kitchen her home. In her free time, you’ll see her relaxing with a cup of any of The Corp’s flavored green tea with steamed soy and honey, as she flips through travel magazines and dreams of the good life. On the weekends she likes long walks to the Dupont Circle farmer’s market, afternoon yoga sessions, and evenings complete with a dinner menu of dishes you’ve never heard of. If you don’t understand her lingo, it’s probably because she makes up her own pronunciation of words. Above all, she lives by the mantra: “Never underestimate the power of Catering’s blueberry muffin loaf.” |
Lauren MahonDirector Seasonal Services |
Lauren (NHS ’12) reigns from the greatest place in the world: Long Island, New York. When not recalling the good times at the acting/circus camp that both she and David Blaine frequented, she enjoys eating garlic salt bagels, interpretive dance, and wearing sweatpants. She hopes her Human Science major and certificate in International Health will qualify her to wear a HAZMAT suit someday but is thrilled to go from making coffee at The Midnight MUG to working Iron Ma(ho)n shifts as Director of Seasonal Services. |

|
Michael (COL ’13) has always lived in the small town of Abington, MA, just south of Boston. He is working towards a BS Mathematics degree and potentially another major, but he is not really sure. In keeping with his deep passion for numbers as well as crunching them, he joined Corp Accounting the fall of his freshman year. In addition to Corp Accounting, he has spent several semesters as a cashier at the lovely establishment known as Vital Vittles. When he is not in the accounting office, Mike avidly supports the Hoyas and Celtics, hangs with friends, and walks around in Lau, pretending to be productive. |
Christina JohnsonDirector Information Technology |
Christina (SFS ’13) is an International Economics major from Granite Bay, California. She currently resides in the IT+M office and can be found there at 7 AM on most mornings studying and listening to Frank Sinatra on Pandora. Christy was hired into the IT+Marketing department in the fall of her sophomore year, where she was considered the most “normal person” in the department, but the wide range of distinct and unique personalities has quickly become her favorite thing about The Corp. When she is not in the office, she can be found watching reruns of Glee, playing sand volleyball by the National Mall, or just hanging out around Leavey contemplating ways to make herself less “normal.” She also enjoys long waterfront walks at dusk and large club sodas with just a hint of vanilla. While she hasn’t figured out her calling yet, she could not be more honored to be a part of The Corp and looks forward to seeing what life has to offer up next. |
Keaton BedellDirector Marketing |
Keaton (COL ’13) is an American Studies Major. Born and raised in Aspen, Colorado, he wears his goggle tan with pride and continues to question the value of snow outside the mountains. Hired two weeks into his freshman year, Keaton has become a full-time resident of 1510 Leavey Center where he feeds his caffeine addiction with large ice coffees and develops his Adobe CS shortcuts muscle memory. When not in the IT+M office, he enjoys downloading absurd quantities of music and writing about it on his blog, wandering Georgetown with his camera, and discovering new ways to use Yates’ pre-historic equipment. Keaton and his team of marketing geniuses are excited to redefine the Georgetown community’s relationship with The Corp over the next year. He encourages you to tell us about your Corp story by tweeting @thecorp or writing on our Facebook wall. |
Colleen CacciabeveDirector Human Resources |
Colleen (COL ’12) is a Political Economy major and Spanish minor from Northern New Jersey. While she wishes she could say she spent her childhood fist pumping “down the shore”, she really just spent it frolicking around the nearby llama farm in Boonton Township. After transferring from Bucknell University, Colleen was hired to Vital Vittles during the spring of her sophomore year. Although she is allergic to German cockroaches, shrimp and the cold (I promise it’s real), she is thankful she can still enjoy Vittles’ bulk candy. In the next year, Colleen looks forward to working with all of The Corp’s employees as well as starting a “School Stinks!” chant in Leo’s. |
