Very Important! Book Co-op Technical Difficulties:

Dear Book Co-op Users,

Due to extreme and expensive technical difficulties, the Corp will not be offering the Book Co-op's services at the end of this semester. We regret any inconvenience this may pose to you. As Students of Georgetown, Inc. and in keeping with our motto of students serving students, we want to most responsibly care for the dollars you spend to allow us to operate and serve you. In the present financial situation, we believe suspending the Book Co-op's operations, which often run at a loss especially when facing technical difficulties, is the most responsible way to look after your everyday investments in the Corp. If you have any questions, feel free to contact president@thecorp.org.

As an alternative to those who would like a forum for exchanging books directly with students, we would like to introduce www.hoyatrade.com where you can post your books for other Georgetown students to browse and arrange exchanges. The site functions much like Craigslist but connects Hoyas to one another rather than complete strangers. The site also has a number of other posting abilities that can foster an exchange of other types of goods, services and opportunities.

Again, we apologize but we also believe HoyaTrade will serve as a successful substitute. Please stay tuned next semester for a new and improved Book Co-op.
