CPC Mission Statement

The Corp Philanthropy Committee strives to engender a philanthropic spirit within the Georgetown community by supporting meaningful traditions and fostering original student service initiatives.

The Corp Philanthropy Committee aims to be a valuable philanthropic resource to all Georgetown University students by reinvesting profits into campus groups and service-related projects, thereby serving the community twice over. In doing so, the CPC seeks both to give students the opportunity to develop and implement their own philanthropic initiatives, and to strengthen Georgetown traditions. By supporting such innovation we encourage Georgetown students to make a lasting impact on the campus community, and to promote the ideals of ‘service’ and ‘giving back’. Additionally, we seek to connect students with broader charitable interests, enabling those who wish to extend their philanthropic impact throughout Washington D.C. and beyond. We support service in all its various forms, from events and groups, to starting conversations and raising awareness.
