Nominate Someone HERE!

Do you know a Hoya who pours their heart into serving the community and does so without an expectation of recognition? Would you like to help Georgetown recognize excellence in compassionate service and contribution? Have they tirelessly given hours to creating a philanthropic endeavor or doggedly tutored members of the community?

The Inaugural Homecoming Humanitarian Award is co-sponsored by the Corp Service & Outreach Committee and the Office of Advancement in partnership with the Center for Social Justice and the 1634 Society. Juniors and seniors who demonstrate outstanding commitment to sharing their time, talent and treasure with the Georgetown and Washington, DC community are eligible for this award. The Homecoming Humanitarian Award and a $2,000 scholarship will be given on a nomination basis this fall

The Selection Committee will review nominations and their references in the period between October 10 and October 17. One winner and one honorable mention will be notified of their selection on October 18. These individuals will be recognized at the Tailgate on Saturday October 22 in the presence of students, alumni and the Selection Committee.

Applications are open until Monday October 10 at 11:59 PM! Please email serviceandoutreach@thecorp.org with any questions.
