What we’re doing for you:

Our purchasers are orderng environmentally friendly paper products and cleaning supplies for our coffee shops.
We are working with the university toward composting all of our leftover coffee and espresso grounds.
Energy efficient appliances are making their way into Corp stores. Check out the new fridge in UG! Look out for Dishwashers in UG and Midnight Mug after Spring Break.
Vital Vittles has expanded its organic options.

We have begun to work with Eco-Action to promote Recyclemania, a university-wide waste reduction competition. We are also working with Eco-Action to bring more guest speakers and events to campus.

What you can do to help:

Bring your own mug to a Corp coffee shop for a $.25 discount on any drink.
Coming soon: totes at Vital Vittles. There will be a discount!
Recycle in our services. Even just returning your clutch will help.

Sustainability has become a major concern for the international Jesuit community, and Georgetown Jesuits are getting involved with the Corp Green Intiative

Georgetown University was recently evaluated by the Sustainable Endowments Institute, a research institute that evaluated 100 leading schools on their campus greening practices and endowment policies.
